I just did mines but when I installed the new thermostat, i opened up the radiator cap to fill in new coolant but it started leaking from the thermostat housing bottom bolt. Any ideas on what I did wrong?

Thanks to your video i changed my valve cover gasket on my pt cruiser the other day. I got stuck on removing the 2 power steering bolts but sprayed some blaster on them and was able to loosen after several hours and finish the job. your instructions are very clear and was super helpful!! I wouldn't recommend a power tool for those screws, you'll break the plastic housing. Maybe that's why there's water in it

How do you remove the old center piece on the cable end?

You changed the bulb but did not fix the problem. If you don’t reseal it the water intrusion will continue and blow another bulb.🤷🏻‍♂️

The gasket is all crusty and dry, so water is gonna be an issue, sure. But if the customer doesn’t want to get into it right now, you can only do what you get paid for 🤷‍♂️ I do love how much simpler that is than all the modern tail assemblies with screws on one side and those friction rings on the other. They’re always so freakin tight you risk breaking the housing pulling it out!

Did the same job today, but now the vehicle is idling at 500 rpm. Am I missing something? Does disconnecting the 3 lines one marked yellow and the other red have anything to do with it? I was thinking maybe that’s why I heard the air hiss when disconnecting them.

This video gave me the confidence to change my alternator myself. I learned that when you tighten, the tensioner (clockwise), it allows you to release the belt and vice versa. (Brilliant concept 😅). i'm having trouble with my "ESC OFF" light coming on while i drive. Ive read in forums it could be the brake light switch (ive replaced that and it didn't help) this sensor in the video, or the steering angle sensor. do you think this sensor could be causing me that problem?
